Okay, random thought here I had from the other day. In my opinion if I had to pin point the down fall of man, It would most likely be with the invention of cup holders.
Think about it with me for a second. Everything we do now somehow involves cup holders. Driving in our cars is one place that I can think of that cup holders have effected us as a society the most. How many cup holders does your car have? Are how many cup holders a car has a selling point? Cup holders in car allows use to not only drive with our diet crack freely accessible, it also allows us have the steering wheel in one hand, cell phone in another,texting our friends about what a great date we had last night. Am I wrong in thinking that cars are made for a mode of transportation? To get us from point A to point B? We are truly putting our safety in jeopardy by using these god forsaken devices.
Movie theaters is another place that have effected the way we live as a people. Aren't You more likely buy a jumbo bag o' popcorn (aka, coronary in a tub) if you know the movie theater your going to has cup holders? In fact let's put a box of giant malt balls into the mix as well. Mmmm, clogging arteries tastes oh so good. Want to get rid of the obesity crisis in America, get rid of cup holders.
Now the only reason I thought about this is because the the other day I thought I would walk to the sandwich shop down the street. As I was walking back, I brought along my drink and I was thinking the whole fifteen minute walk back to my house that I wish I had a cup holder.
